The Kansas City Chorale presents the Midwest Premiere of a new genre of choral music. This storytelling event offers a new musical interpretation of A Christmas Carol, by Charles Dickens.  Grammy-nominated composer Benedict Sheehan has created a concert-length story score that weaves familiar Christmas carols and a choral orchestration into the fabric of the Dickens story.  As a storyteller dramatically orates the haunting tale of Ebenezer Scrooge, the Kansas City Chorale performs a dramatic and exceptionally demanding soundtrack that includes many lush arrangements of favorite carols.  Don't miss this exciting production that promisses to be a new holiday favorite!
