David Adams, tenor, completed his Masters Degree in Vocal Performance at UMKC. An active singer on the American operatic scene, he has performed with companies including the Metropolitan Opera, the New York City Opera, the Santa Fe Opera, and has made important debuts at both Avery Fisher Hall and Carnegie Hall in New York City. With the Kansas City Chorale, Mr. Adams was featured as the Celebrant on the critically acclaimed 1996 Rachmaninov recording. Upcoming engagements include performances of Il Barbiere di Siviglia and The Merry Widow and recitals in Kansas City and Philadelphia.

Matthew Gladden is enjoying his first year as tenor with the Kansas City Chorale. Mr. Gladden is in his final semester at William Jewell College and will graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Vocal Performance. He has performed in New York City, England, and Scotland.

Kelly Neill, tenor, is a doctoral student in vocal performance at UMKC, currently on leave from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, where he teaches voice and conducting. He has been a soloist with the Pittsburgh Bach Choir, Abilene Philharmonic Orchestra, Western Colorado Chorale and several chamber music series. Kelly has been a member of Conspirare, the Robert Shaw Festival Singers, Santa Fe Desert Chorale, and is excited to be joining the Kansas City Chorale this season. He is a graduate of Abilene Christian University and Baylor University. Kelly lives in Overland Park, with his wife and two daughters.

This is tenor Frank Fleschner's third season with the Kansas City Chorale. Frank graduated from Truman State University in Kirksville, MO with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music. He performed throughout his college career with the university's most select ensembles and with their large, oratorio-sized chorus. In the fall of 2004, Frank was a tenor soloist at a Truman State concert performing portions of Handel's Messiah. During the day, he enjoys a career that allows him to work with his other great passion, Macintosh computers.

Alan Murray, tenor, holds degrees in Vocal Performance/Pedagogy from New Mexico State and Arizona State University. Alan sang with the Phoenix Bach Choir in the 1997-99 seasons and has been a member of the Chorale since moving to Kansas City in 2003. He is Adjunct Associate Professor of Music & Voice at Johnson County Community College and is Director of Music at Asbury United Methodist Church in Prairie Village.

Chris Munce, a Kansas City native, has been involved in local choral ensembles for almost two decades. Chris is an accomplished choral performer, and member of Kansas City Chorale and Armonia Early Music Ensemble. He spent two years with the Lee's Summit Community Boys choir as a treble, and was a tenor section leader at Unity Temple on the Plaza from 1999-2007. Chris received a Bachelor's of Music Education from the UMKC Conservatory of Music. During his tenure he spent three years singing in Heritage Chorale under the direction of Dr. Eph Ely and Dr. Charles Robinson and four years studying voice with Professor Michael Cousins. Following graduation Chris became the Director of Choirs at Belton High School, after which he began study for his Master' Degree in Choral Conducting at the Conservatory. During that time he served as adjunct faculty at the Conservatory teaching choral arranging, and at Blue River Community College as a professor of voice. Chris is now teaching at Lee's Summit High School as the Associate Director of Choral Music. He has been an active private voice instructor since 1999 and is currently teaching at the Music-Arts Institute in Independence.
