auditioning for the chorale

Auditions for the 2016–2017 season have ended. The Chorale will hold auditions for the 2017–2018 season in the summer of 2017. Watch this space for more information, and like our Facebook page for the next audition announcement.

Auditions consist of singing two songs in contrasting styles – preferably arias or art songs – with one song being in a language other than English. Other requirements include exhibiting tonal memory and sight-reading ability, as well as demonstrating vocal range. If you are not memorized on your selections, please bring extra copies for an accompanist, which will be provided.

To make an audition appointment, please fill out the following form completely. Upon receipt of your application, we will be in touch to arrange your audition. Thank you for your interest in singing with the GRAMMY® Award–winning Kansas City Chorale!
